About Our Institute
TALANDU MR & NC MOHANTA COLLEGE OF EDUCATION is a premier institute of Teachers’ Training & Education, presently approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E.) and affiliated to the The West Bengal University Of Teachers Training, Education Planning And Administration. It is located in Kushpur, Near Talandu Station, Hooghly, West Bengal & it was established in the year of 2012. Then we never looked back. This college has taken teacher-education as a mission to enlighten the in-service and prospective teachers with new ideas in order to illuminate the minds of thousands of school students who constitute the future of our nation. Continuous updating of knowledge and use of modern technology in Teacher Education with enhancement of capability through pursuits of higher knowledge have been the mission of the college.

Our Courses
Bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed)
It is a course that teaches students about every aspect of teaching. After pursuing the degree, students can join any educational institute or even can start their tuition classes outside the Institute. Eligibility criteria : Candidates should have passed Bachelor's degree or above with at least 50% (45% for reserved candidates) from a recognised university.
Diploma in Elementary Education( D.El.Ed)
Diploma in Elementary Education( D.El.Ed) With this course, students can learn about teaching and management as well. After pursuing the degree, students can join any educational institute Eligibility criteria Candidates should have passed class 12 with at least 50% (45% for reserved candidates) from a recognised board.
